CEC Hong Kong Branch (CEC HKB) has made significant progress in its localization efforts as by winning two key projects in 2015 in Hong Kong: Kai Tak Development– Stage 2 Infrastructure Works, and Liantang/Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point and associated works– Contract 6. At the beginning of 2017, CEC HKB was certified by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) to offer Graduate Scheme “A” training for civil engineering graduates.

HKIE is Hong Kong’s largest association for engineers with university graduate needing to pass a test given by this institution before becoming an engineer. Receiving HKIE’s approval to offer training programs for engineering graduates shows that CEC’s expertise is not only recognized by local communities but will also aid CEC HKB’s local recruitment.

With regard to corporate social responsibility, in March 2016, CEC HKB received the Caring Company Logo issued by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). Through the dedicated effort, CEC HKB was once again given authorization to continue using the logo in 2017 proving the commitment to social responsibility as well as local customers and the community.
