CEC Hong Kong Branch (CEC HKB) has been included in the “List of Approved Contractors for Public Work” by the Development Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Inclusion in the list not only affirms the company’s long-term commitment to Hong Kong, but also fosters its future business growth.

At present, CEC HKB has been awarded the “Public Works Contract Permit for Contract C” in the category of “Roads & Drainage” and in the future can submit tender for contracts of any value exceeding HK$300 million. Contractors are awarded the permit only if they meet financial, technical, and management criteria set by the government.

Besides the great progress in receiving accreditation, in one of its most important projects – the LT6, CEC HKB has overcome various obstacles and reached a significant milestone – the tunnel breakthrough, which was achieved one month ahead of schedule in June 2017. The company and its JV partner thus received a favorable review in the LT6 project Contractor Performance Report.
